A former Captain of the Royal College Cricket team, he represented his country in five first-class and eight List A matches. On December 22, 2015, he made his Twenty20 debut for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club in the 2015-16 AIA Premier T20 Tournament. He was picked in Qatar’s team for a three-match Twenty20 International series against Uganda in February 2020. On February 12, 2020, he made his T20I debut for Qatar against Uganda. In 2020 he was seeking advice on training and started training with Shaqir, and later on during the Covid-19 pandemic we focused on his online training and programming. He was picked for Qatar’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier Group A matches in October 2021.
